On the site of the former Ritterhof Hotel, Sensoria opened its doors in the summer of 2022. The passion project of Lea Oberhofer and her husband Simon, Sensoria brought wellness travel to a new level in the Alpe di Siusi region; a place where two generations of family hospitality meet a fresh, contemporary vision of rest.
An Adults-Only Retreat, Rooted in the Dolomites
Sensoria Dolomites is an all-inclusive, adults-only retreat in the Alpine village of Siusi allo Sciliar, set against the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Here, the mountains aren't just a backdrop; they're part of the experience, shaping the rhythm of every day guests spend at Sensoria.
Wellness, Reimagined
Guests can sink into sweeping mountain views while swimming in the indoor or outdoor pools, then retreat to one of the relaxation rooms after a treatment. The sauna overlooks the garden, seats up to 20 guests, and hosts two "Aufguss" infusions daily; led by sauna master Antonio, who swings his towel and carries essential oil scents through the room as he makes his rounds. For those who prefer to move, a well-equipped gym and guided yoga and Pilates sessions are available for all levels.
Dining, All Day
At Sensoria, dining is never an afterthought. The all-day-inclusive meals are one of the most important parts of the experience; a genuine showcase of local, South Tyrolean cuisine, crafted to nourish and delight from morning to night.
Sensoria Art Edition
Last year, Sensoria launched the Sensoria Art Edition, inviting guests to connect directly with two Tyrolean artists, Aron Demetz and Peter Senoner. The program includes studio visits and an Art Dinner, where food, art, and conversation come together for an evening unlike any other.

A memorable stay is more that just the building you reside in. There needs to be warmth, it has to be inviting, and above all it is about the people that are proud to be there and represent it. Lea is an amazing hotelier, and with her Bayern Munich loving husband Simon by her side nothing is missed. Guests are treated like friends and family, and repeatedly return. I spent time with a guest who travels regularly from Germany to stay at Sensoria, and she agreed it is the people that make the hotel stay memorable. Also… we love Antonio…
Why you’ll love it…
After a day on the mountain, be it either skiing, climbing, eating or hiking (I’ll set you up with my amazing guide Patrick), returning to this slice of calm paradise is exactly what you’ll need. Relax those muscles and take time for yourself. When we travel we sometimes forget to slow down, calm your mind and your body, and Sensoria is the most beautiful place in the Dolomites to do this.
